We’re pleased to welcome Phil Metcalf as the new further education chaplaincy ambassador for the West Midlands region. This new role provides strategic support and development for the churches’ work with colleges of further education within the West Midlands region, working with FE colleges and local churches to develop new forms of chaplaincy, support and strengthen existing chaplaincy teams and act as a source of advice to colleges and churches on spiritual development and religious literacy in further education. The role is jointly funded by the Dioceses of Coventry and Lichfield, the Heart of England Baptist Association, the West Midlands Synod of the URC, and St Peter’s Saltley Trust.
